CBF转录因子在植物抗逆和生长发育中的重要功能

摘 要:

CBF/DREB转录因子属于AP2 (APETALA2)转录因子家族, 能够识别下游COR (cold-regulated)基因启动子上的CRT/DRE顺式作用元件。在低温等非生物胁迫条件下, CBF (C-repeat binding factor)转录因子通过结合在CRT/DRE元件上激活COR基因的表达, 从而提高植物抗逆能力。另外, CBF转录因子也会影响植物的生长和发育。本文从CBF转录因子的结构、调控CBF的上游调节因子、在应对非生物胁迫过程中激素信号与CBF通路的关系、CBF在植物适应逆境胁迫中的作用、不同CBF之间作用的共性与特异性, 以及CBF对植物生长发育的影响等方面, 阐述了CBF转录因子的调控机制及其在植物适应逆境胁迫和生长发育等方面的重要作用。

Abstract:

The CBF/DREB transcription factor belongs to the APETALA2 (AP2) family and interacts with the CRT/DRE cis-acting element which is located the downstream cold-regulated (COR) gene promoter. C-repeat binding factor (CBF) transcription factor activates the expression of the COR gene by combining with CRT/DRE element under low temperature and other adversity conditions, so as to enhance the stress tolerance in plants. In addition, CBF transcription factors affect plant growth and development. In this paper, the important role of CBF transcription factors in plant responsing to abiotic stress and affecting growth and development are summarized. These include the structure of CBF transcription factors, the upstream transcription factors that regulate CBF, the internal relation between hormone signaling and CBF pathway responsing to abiotic stress, the role of CBF in plant stress resistance and growth and development. Meanwhile, the similarities and differences of CBFs in their functions are also discussed.
